At a very young age, JR Linton's parents recognized his gift as an artist. Once the paint was shaved off of the family dog, they encouraged him to move to other media. As his talent and desire to create grew, his dad would steal reams and reams of 11 x 17 paper from his office to feed his son's growing habit.
JR began his art career, like many with doodles in the corners of school text books. JR received no formal training learning everything he knows from “girlie mags” and junkyards.
JR Linton began tattooing in 2004 at Hellcat Tattoo apprenticing under Dave. In 2012 JR opened Ink and Pistons Tattoo in West Palm Beach Florida. During his tattooing career JR has racked up numerous awards and a client list including many famous celebrities and athletes.
