Warning:  When using your lid with hot or carbonated beverages, pressure will build up inside and may expel from the opening when opening the latch or removing the lid.  When using hot or carbonated beverages, make sure to open the latch to release pressure with the lid facing away from you before twisting off your lid.  Do not remove the lid without releasing the pressure first.  Make sure your beverage is at a sippable temperature before drinking it.
