Each unique piece of jewelry designed and handcrafted by the artists of "Roman Glass Company" at Kibbutz Revadim. Your jewelry is inlaid with a fragment of ancient glass, discovered in an archaeological excavation in the Holy Land. Due to its strategic location along the Mediterranean coast, Israel served as a major glass-making center.

The "patina" (exquisite surface coloring) was created by chemical interaction with mineral-risch soil over the course of 2000 years.

After centuries of being buried in the mineral-rich soil, a thin layer of Patina is formed on the glass. This process of oxidation creates the various shades of blues and greens. As the coloration depends on the minerals and conditions to which the glass has been exposed each piece is unique.

Immersion in water may harm the natural patina and it is highly recommended to remove the jewelry prior to bathing or swimming.
