Born and raised on the East side of Los Angeles, Dave Sanchez developed his unique fine-line style of art. Influenced by prison art, Chicano culture, and deep Mexican roots, he later absorbed the traditional classics, and mended them together creating a style all unto its own. His signature Dia de los Muertos skulls are a clear example of these two worlds colliding.
